At the 3rd Plenary Session of the 1st Conference for the 13th National People’s Congress (NPC) for Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, which was held in Nanning in the morning of January 31, Zeng Guang’an, the 12th and 13th Deputy of District People’s Congress, Secretary of the Party committee and Chairman of LiuGong Group, was elected as the Deputy to the 13th NPC for Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

LiuGong India proudly announced completion of its 15 years’ of business in India with a gala celebration on 22nd January 2018 for business partners, supporters and media. This celebration is also part of LiuGong’s 60th Anniversary global tour which was announced last November.

LiuGong celebrated the launch of its 60th Anniversary Global Tour and Fulfillment of “The Belt and Road Initiative” Strategy at its 2017 Global Dealer Conference. Guangxi Liugong Machinery Co., Ltd (LiuGong) announced a 546M RMB (85.24M USD) acquisition of 51% shares in Shanghai Jintai Engineering Machinery Co., Ltd. (Jintai) which was formerly held by Guangxi Liugong Group Corp. The deal can be traced back to the May of 2011 when LiuGong Group, parent company of LiuGong, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Shanghai Mechanical and Electrical Industry Co., Ltd and Shanghai Electric International Economic & Trading Co., Ltd, the 2 subsidiaries of Shanghai Electric (Group) Corp., and bought in a 51% share of Shanghai Jintai Engineering Machinery Co., Ltd.

LiuGong held its 2017 Global Dealer Conference in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, China. With the theme of “Innovation Creates the Future”, LiuGong shared its 60 years’ heritage as well as the future expectations with more than 1000 attendees from over 70 countries of government officials, industry leaders, LiuGong dealer representatives, media friends and LiuGong employees.
